    1. I can change the items but the ok does not save it – it reverst back to the old name. How do I get it to save the new name? It worked on some files but not on others.

      • Hi Ira,

Please, can you make sure that you have not opened that particular file when editing its properties.
Also, might be you have to close all other applications that uses this file or if the file had been used by other application before it was taken for edit – please restart your computer.

Let me know if you succeed!

        Regards,

    2. When I go to the details page and click on the item it only highlights it blue without letting me actually type anything in.

        • Hi, did you look up for a solution already to the Mason’s problem because I have the same problem too? Some files just don’t let you type anything there but others do. I don’t understand why is that… If you find or have found a solution please do tell. Thank you!

    3. Thanks Sir for your Steps . It worked right .

Where do I have permission to change the file names? Apparently I can’t on my external harddrive

    6. Hi. I have been changing Album Titles, Song Titles, Artist Names, etc. My problem is that on certain files when I click on “Details” I only get the “File” category, not the other 5 or 6 categories. One such missing category is “Media” which contains all the artist and song info. The Files are FLAC, but I have been doing editing on FLAC files anyway…any ideas? Thanks

Same question as Ira, the file isn’t opened anywhere whatsoever!

    8. Hi I am also strggling to type=it highlights the categories but does not let me type/edit..any ideas??i am using windows 8,thanks in advance

    9. Funny thing! At first it didn’t work for me either, getting the blue stuff etc. But that was because of the folder I was looking in! It was a portable device, when you try to aplly changes from in there it doesn’t work! Well, for me it didn’t, but when you copy the file to anywhere on your “C:” it does work! So you can cut it from your phone (in my cause), and paste it anywhere on your “C:”, edit it, and afterwards place it back where you originally got it! Easy as that.

    10. Hello! I have the same questino as someone above, but i’m sorry not to find your answer anywere. So, it was: “when I go to the details page and click on the item it only highlights it blue without letting me actually type anything in”.

    11. Is there a program available that will edit (retrieve missing information) my mp3s for me?
I have a ridiculous amount of music and editing each file individually would take weeks.

    12. I had a similar problem about not being able to edit the content. I had to unblock the security settings (because I downloaded it) in order to change the details. This should be included on your site.
